Change in direction!
Our original direction for this game was to create a first-person detective game in black-and-white aesthetics.
Here's the video of the prototype:
However, looking at this, it felt too calm and cozy game which does not vibe with the feeling we want to create.
After all, while diffusing a bomb, you would be under time pressure. The game should feel chaotic.
Now we are going by the route of creating a top-down, isometric 3D game with frantic movement and solving puzzles under a ticking clock!
Adding grunge!
What would a chaotic game look like? It would be a dilapidated room where you have to diffuse a bomb finding clues in chaos!
We added grunge to add move visual noise to the game after toppling all furniture!

Level 0: The design of this level is to bring out the chaos and explore the room to find the clues. Also the police officer moves at a fairly fast pace with simple animation while the clock (inspired by ticking in CS:GO) chirps to a countdown!
